Registration is now open at Metropolitan Ballet Theatre, with classes beginning September 8 in Gaithersburg & Clarksburg.

From first steps to pre-professional training, we offer exceptional dance education for ages 3 through adult in Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Tap, Character, Modern, Pointe, and more.

We had so much fun last week at our Ballet Intensive and Cinderella Camp!

✨ Rockette Master Class with Samantha Jo Harvey ✨

Don't miss this special opportunity to take a one-day precision jazz master class with former Radio City Rockette on Wednesday, August 26!

Class will begin with a technical jazz warm-up and across the floor before diving into precision jazz technique and Rockette-style choreography, including the famous eye-high kicks. Each class will wrap up with a short showing for families and Q&A.

Class Schedule:
⭐ Ages 15–18: 5:00–6:15 PM
⭐ Ages 11–14: 6:20–7:35 PM
⭐ Adults: 7:40–8:55 PM

A Maryland native, Samantha performed for 10 seasons as a Radio City Rockette and has appeared in performances for the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, Saturday Night Live, the Today Show, and more.

✨ A huge congratulations to a few of our dancers who were recently promoted to pointe! Here they are doing some strengthening exercises during our Summer Pointe Workshop with Ms. Allison! 🩰💕

From their first pointe shoe fittings to learning proper technique and pointe shoe care, these dancers have taken an exciting new step in their ballet journey. We are so proud of their hard work, dedication, and commitment that made this milestone possible.

Give your dancer a head start before the fall semester with our Ballet Prep Camp! Designed specifically for Foundations and Level 1 dancers, this week of focused training will help students build confidence, strengthen ballet fundamentals, and prepare for the next step in their ballet journey.
