Ladies, following directions on the range is of UTMOST importance. But how would it make you feel if you were spoken to like this by your fi****ms instructor? Would this motivate you to do better or would it completely demoralize you and make you want to quit fi****ms altogether? Tell us in the comments.

FMJ vs. Hollow Point: Know the Difference
Full metal jacket (FMJ) rounds are commonly used for range practice because they are typically less expensive and are designed not to expand on impact. That means they can pe*****te more deeply and may continue through a target or other materials.
Hollow points are designed to expand on impact. In defensive handgun use, that expansion is intended to reduce over-penetration (such as through walls) and lower the risk of collateral damage beyond your target compared with FMJ, which is why they are commonly recommended for personal defense applications.
Bottom line:
FMJ is generally associated with training and target shooting. Hollow points are commonly associated with defensive carry and home defense, subject to local laws and proper firearm-function testing.
Safety note: Always follow local laws, use the ammunition your firearm manufacturer supports, and test any defensive load for reliability in your specific firearm before relying on it. Hollow-point legality can vary by jurisdiction.

π Where most of our students start:
"I've always wanted to learn but never knew where to begin."
"I was nervous just being near a gun."
"I thought I'd be the only person who didn't know what they were doing."
π Where they end up:
"I can't believe I was ever afraid of this."
"I feel prepared now β not just trained."
"When's the next class? I want to bring my sister."
That Journey β from uncertain to confident, from nervous to capable β is what Ladies of Caliber is built for.
It doesn't happen all at once. It happens step by step:
πΉ Step 1: Show up to Level I
πΉ Step 2: Put it into practice at Level II
πΉ Step 3: Keep building with the Tuesday shooting group
πΉ Step 4: Never stop learning
Your journey starts at a single class. We'll be there for every step after that.
