It's only thirty days until Rockin the Ramp!! Come out and enjoy awesome grub from a variety of food trucks. (Guys don't make Mom cook on Sunday afternoon) Come eat with us! Shop til you drop with our vendors of all kinds! Start Christmas shopping early! Enjoy five awesome music performances beginning at 2 p.m. until the fireworks show starts at dark. Let your kiddos enjoy the bounce house, water slides, obstacle course, kids games including corn hole, and kayaks on the lake. WECO Radio and B 97.5 will be on site giving away prizes at different times during the day. The night will end with an awesome fireworks show on the water! Every year it gets better! Help us celebrate our Labor Force, our 5th RTR anniversary, and America's 250th! It's going to be the BEST ROCKIN THE RAMP YET! Last but not least is the fact all the activities are FREE!!!!!! REMEMBER to bring your lawn chairs an come out & enjoy!!

June 24-28 Rockwood hosted the 2026 8u Softball State Tournament. It was a huge success. So many people to thank. City Administrator Becky Ruppe, Finance Belinda Kretzer, Roane Alliance personnel Stacy Wilson and Jennifer Brown, Dyb/Dys personnel Alan Reed and Kari Howe Mitchell, P&R staff, Aaron Evans, Pete and Steet Dept, scorers and book keepers, so many others to make it such a success I can't mention them all. Thank you all. Congratulations to State Champions Springfield, runner up Greenbriar, and Sportmanship awarded to Lewis County. Such a great week of softball.

Congratulations to our 8u All Star team for placing 3rd in District play. Proud of you guys and lady.

Good District 8 8u tournament in Rockwood Thursday through Monday. Congrats to Spring City All Stars for placing 1st, Kingston placed 2nd, and Dayton earned Sportsmanship Award. Good job fellas and little lady.

Congratulations to our 6u All Star team for placing 3rd in District Tournament and especially proud they were awarded Sportsmanship Award. Proud of all you kids, coaches, and parents for representing Rockwood so well.

Congrats to our 10u softball team for winning District. Keep up the good work as you head to State. Proud of you girls and big thanks to Coach Seat and staff.

Rockwood hosted the 2026 6u end of season tournament for RoCo league. Congratulations to Harriman Welch team for taking home the championship and also to Oakdale Perkins team for runner-up. Good job everyone that participated and made it a no issue, good tournament.
