Just another reminder about our cardio drumming class—it’s every Monday and Thursday, at 6:30pm. First class is always free, and then every class is $10 if you’re using instructor’s equipment and $7 if you’re using your own. Class is being taught by a team of professional and very talented instructors. Please join this class, it’s fun and very beneficial for your health. Hope to see you there soon! 🤗🤗🤗

Here is a great wrap-up of 2026 Downriver Senior Olympics. We had 8 participants from City of Rockwood this year, and our seniors won 7 medals—2 gold, 2 silver and 3 bronze. We are incredibly proud of our winners!!! We’re truly grateful to City of Lincoln Park for hosting the event this year. Our heartfelt thanks go to our honorable Mayor, Mr Troy Cox, his wonderful family, to our City Administrator, Victoria Trush, for all their help and support they provided during this Senior Olympics season. We greatly miss our main participant, Mr Jim Herzog, who passed away earlier this year, he has participated in Senior Olympics for over 30 years. We’ll never forget him and his legacy will live on through the countless lives he has touched 🙏🙏🙏. Thank you all and we can’t wait to see you next year, in Wyandotte, who is hosting 2027 Downriver Senior Olympics! 🤗🎉🎊🥇🥈🥉

Downriver Senior Olympics 40th season has officially begun on Monday, August 10th. City of Lincoln Park is hosting the event this year. City of Rockwood is proudly presenting 8 participants. Let’s wish our seniors the best of luck!!! 🚴⚽️🏓🏌🏼‍♂️🥇🥈🥉

The Rockwood Community Center will be setting up the polls on Monday August 3rd so we will not have class that evening.

Good news! We've extended the deadline for our Drag Queen Bingo Fundraiser T-Shirt Design Contest to July 15th! 🎉

Embrace Monroe is looking for local artists and designers to help bring Betty Spaghetti to life for our first annual Drag Queen Bingo fundraiser! 🌈🎱

🎨 Theme: Diner Waitress Realness!

Your design should include:
🍝 Betty Spaghetti, a drag queen inspired by classic diner waitresses
🍽️ A big plate of spaghetti
🎱 Two strategically placed meatballs or bingo balls on top of the spaghetti (playful but tasteful!)
