Allied Cycle Works designs, engineers, and manufactures bikes right here in America that embody beauty, power, and utility. Yes.

THE ALLIED WAY

Do we need another bike company? The bike industry has veered off course. What began as an expression of passion for cycling, has now become focused on refining its off-shore production and logistics acumen. ALLIED is reinstituting much-needed passion back into the industry.

For big ol’ backcountry days in the mountains. For when those dirt lines get extra rowdy. For bike park laps and shootin’ gaps.

Kate Courtney arrived at the U.S. National Road Championships with one of the strongest résumés in American cycling—but only a handful of true road races behind her. Road racing asked different questions of her, and that was a part of the appeal.

Read the story of Kate’s adaptation to a new category, and how she made the most of it with a big win at this year’s US Elite National Road Championships. At the link in our bio, or directly at https://alliedcycleworks.com/blogs/stories/kate-courtney-echo-us-road-national-champion.

Road-first fit. Lightweight, aerodynamic chassis. Clearance for wide tires. The all new ECHO carries speed beyond pristine pavement and across the varied surfaces real roads deliver. Ready to race. Ready for mixed miles. Ready to move road forward.

There’s stock. And then there’s yours.
Custom-painted ECHO frameset in gloss gold.
Built without compromise. Finished without shortcuts.

Initial thoughts on my new ECHO:

1. Always include Optimus Prime in the photos for maximum engagement.
2. In my opinion, this is the best road bike ALLIED has ever made.
3. The 42mm Vittoria Corsa Pro Control’s are so fast they should be illegal.
4. The Zipp Speed 303 XPLR SW are WIDE—the interface between the tire and wheel is completely flush. Aero + aesthetics.
5. When do the custom mini-frame bags arrive? If you zoom in close, you can see two bolts on the underside of the top tube for mounting.
6. Only two rides in I felt this thing was fast, but Kate Courtney just won elite road nationals on her rig, so suspicions confirmed.
7. I will probably never own a front derailleur again. Thanks SRAM Road.
8. After 5 years of exclusively pedaling on gravel and mountain bikes, this rig has kindled a new relationship with pavé.
9. After 6+ years of custom paint on my ALLIED machines, a classic white with bronze decals feels spot on.

Let’s ride. - andy chasteen

She switches fat tires for the skinnies, and Kate Courtney just won the Women’s Elite National Championship Road Race aboard the brand new ECHO. Is there anything she can’t do?
Congrats Kate!

Up up and away…
The all new ECHO. No trend chasing. Just road performance, shaped for where the ride is going.

ALLIED athlete and ambassador has been a busy bicycle blazer thus far this season, barely back home, basically based on the road, while still balancing the books (somehow) full time at Colorado School of Mines.

Racking up some great U23 results at , .bike, , and more. We’re honored to have Noah in the family and can’t wait to watch the rest of his season take shape!

The dust (er, mud) has settled on another and although the epic conditions were the headline act, we had a blast meeting new folks and talking bikes for two days at the expo. If you toed the line on Saturday, chapeau! If you finished the day, an even bigger chapeau! That’s an edition we won’t soon forget.
