We at RRD value the diversity of our community. That diversity takes many forms, including neurodiverse community members. We'd like to take time for Autism Awareness Day to acknowledge that. People across the spectrum have a lot to offer and should be recognized and celebrated for being, uniquely, themselves.

On this Transgender Day of Visibility, we'd like to recognize and celebrate our transgender league members and community members. Diversity is something to strive for and the contributions of all people are critical to our league. We see you. We appreciate you. And we're glad to have you.
We hope everyone can use this time to consider how transgender people contribute to your own life, and consider what you can do to help with the ongoing fight for recognition and equality.

One of our Boot Camp skaters from the beginning of the year lost her Napa Valley home in the Glass fire. Charli's home was under mandatory evacuation before she had the chance to grab anything and she lost absolutely everything she owned as well as her beautiful pet snake. We're trying to spread the word and help, and we'd appreciate if you would too. Thank you.

Our roller derby season has officially ended. It's disappointing, but shouldn't be a surprise at this point. The sport that we love may be on pause for the time being but we'll be back in force when we're all safely able to skate. Like our mascot the phoenix, we will rise again.
