A special thank you to all of the ladies who joined us as we celebrate Women’s Fly Fishing Month. We appreciate your participation and are excited to see more women getting involved in fly fishing and fly tying.

We’d also like to thank everyone who attended and helped make the evening a success. Special thanks to our featured Fly Tyers Billy and Louisa for sharing their time, knowledge, and passion for the craft. We also can’t forget to thank our good friend Bill Cooper from the Bill Cooper for attending. It’s Events like these are what make our fly-fishing community so important.

Memorial Day

It’s a day to remember and honor the men and women who died while serving in the U.S. military, while also being a time many people spend with family, friends, and community traditions.

I hope you get some time to enjoy the day—whether that means fishing, grilling, spending time with family, or just getting outdoors.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there — we hope everyone is taking some time this weekend to pay tribute to the women who helped shape who we are.

Reagan and I don’t get out to fish together nearly as much as we’d like, but every once in a while our timelines add up just right. The trout were hungry, the creek flows were perfect, and for a few hours the rest of the world got quiet.

God willing and the creek don’t rise.
