Miss Chitwood accepts students age 6 through adult. All students perform in the End-Of-The-Year Recital, which is two performances in June.
Susan Chitwood grew up in Roseburg and at age 9 began her dance training at Ralph Patterson's ROSEBURG SCHOOL OF DANCING. She taught ballet, tap, and jazz at the school for five years before going to New York City to study at the SCHOOL OF AMERICAN BALLET. Two of our dancers, Isabelle & Emma, performed their 20s jazz dance "Ain't She Sweet" for Winston's Got Talent at the Winston-Dillard Melon Festival today. And guess what? They won the Teen Division! 🎉 Congratulations ladies! 👏🏼👏🏼
