🏁 2026 OKTOBERFEST RACE WEEKEND RECAP! 🏁
What a way to wrap up the 2026 racing season at LaCrosse Speedway! 🏁
THURSDAY — SPORTSMEN DIVISION SEASON FINALE
Thursday night officially brought our LaCrosse Speedway Sportsmen Division season to a close.
Heading into the night, I was sitting 3rd in the championship points standings, with Jake right behind me in 4th—and that's exactly where we finished!
Congratulations to Charles Vian Jr. on the championship and Mark Challet on finishing 2nd.
Bottom line? It was a DAMN GOOD year of racing! 🏆
Throughout the regular season, I had the privilege of taking the #18 to Victory Lane 9 TIMES—4 Feature wins and 5 Dash/Heat wins!
But as much as we love the wins, trophies, and checkered flags, one of the greatest things about racing is the relationships we've built along the way. Competitors on the track, friends off the track. It doesn't get much better than that! ❤️
Now, back to Thursday's racing…
With 32 cars qualifying and only 24 making the field for the 22.000-second breakout Feature, the competition was tough!
Unfortunately, qualifying wasn't my strong suit. Thanks to a points provisional, I made the show and rolled off 18th for the 20-lap Feature.
From there, it was GAME ON! 💪
In a caution-free race, I worked my way through the field to bring Caroline home with a 6th-place finish!
Nick and the crew had that #18 dialed in PERFECTLY! I can't help but think that if qualifying had gone a little differently, we would've been a serious contender for the W.🤩
FRIDAY — AREA SPORTSMEN NIGHT
Friday brought another opportunity to get Caroline back on the track.
First order of business? MAKE THE SHOW! 😅
I qualified 14th, securing a spot in the field—and let me tell you, that was a relief!
In the 6-lap Even Heat race, I started on the pole and drove the #18 straight to VICTORY LANE! 🏁🏆
For the 25-lap Feature, I rolled off 14th in a competitive 25-car field. When the checkered flag flew, Caroline and I had worked our way up to a respectable 7th-place finish.
Not too shabby for a weekend of racing at Fest!

All in all, it was an incredible Oktoberfest weekend for Lodermeier Racing and a pretty darn good way to close out our 2026 season.
I can't say enough about Nick, Jake, Taylor, Parker, and Cory. These guys gave 110% all weekend long, working tirelessly to keep the #18 and #60 running strong.
The time, effort, dedication, and sacrifices that go into this sport don't go unnoticed. I'm beyond grateful and blessed to have such an amazing group of people in my corner—not just in racing, but in life. ❤️
To our parents, kids, family & friends, THANK YOU for always supporting this crazy racing lifestyle. The long days, late nights, missed family time, and countless hours spent at the racetrack are all part of what we love to do, and your support means more than you know.
