PALM SPRINGS UPDATE: We are all here in Palm Springs, 82 degrees at game time...Trenton has become the everyday 2nd baseman for the A'S..he was 1 for 2 today with a DOUBLE and RBI...

Palm Springs Update: Trenton continues with his solid defense, but he is struggling at the plate, just can't get back into the hit column, he hit the ball hard to left the other day but LF had a bead on it, today he took an at bat 7 pitches before the K and then last inning against a 6ft 10 pitcher he hit the ball to CF but it was caught. The coach told him don't sweat it..you facing guys who have pitched up to AA level..

Update from Palm Springs: After 4 innings at 2nd base..Trenton's manager asked him if he has ever played outfield..not since he was like 8..coach put him in right field and with a runner on 1st w/ 1 out..ball is hit to right field tailing away..Trenton dives makes the catch and doubles up the runner at 1st..big celebration in the dugout!

The furthest we traveled last fall was to Martinez. We generally play in Sacramento
