📣 Twin Cities Marathon weekend is almost here! Marathon weekend is October 3rd and 4th, and we plan to be a big part of it! 💜

Whether you’re racing, spectating, or just love the incredible energy that takes over the Twin Cities this weekend, there are plenty of ways to be part of it with Moms on the Run. 💜💚

🛍️ COME SEE MOTR AT THE EXPO
We’ll be at the TCM Expo in St. Paul Friday and Saturday with MOTR merch, great deals and plenty of familiar faces. Come say hi!

📣COME CHEER WITH US SUNDAY!
Our official MOTR cheer station will be rocking all morning with cheering, cowbells, coffee and donuts. 🍩☕

Find the MOTR tent on the south side of Summit Ave near Syndicate - just past mile 7 for the 10 Mile, mile 10.4 for the Half and mile 23.5 for the Marathon.

And we need our LOCAL crew to help us make some serious noise! 🙌

We’re going for best cheer zone again this year, and afterward you can vote for MOTR as the fan favorite to help us win money for our charity of choice, Feed My Starving Children!

Today, we remember. ❤️

We remember the lives lost, the families forever changed, the first responders who ran toward danger, and the countless acts of courage and compassion that emerged on one of our country’s darkest days.

We also remember what followed - the way people reached for one another. Neighbors helped neighbors. Strangers showed kindness to strangers. Communities gathered, grieved and held one another a little closer.

Twenty-five years later, may we honor those we lost not only by remembering, but by carrying some of that love forward.

May we choose kindness. May we take care of one another. May we remember how much we need each other.

Never forget. 🇺🇸

💜 Here’s to the work that makes us stronger.

Labor Day began as a celebration of American workers and the labor movement - honoring the people whose work, advocacy and persistence helped shape things many of us now take for granted, like safer workplaces and more reasonable working hours.

And today, while we honor that history, we’re also thinking about a different kind of work.

The work we choose to do for ourselves. 💜💚

The miles we put in. The strength we build. The rest we allow ourselves to take. The friendships we make time for. The choice to keep showing up for our physical and mental well-being - even when life is already asking a LOT from us.

Sometimes work looks like an early morning run with friends. Sometimes it’s a long walk. Sometimes it’s stretching, resting and recovering. And sometimes it’s doing absolutely NOTHING on a three-day weekend because that’s exactly what you need. 🙌

So today, we’re celebrating the work AND the rest that keep us going.
