Congratulations to class of 2026 Faith Christian HS Guard, Lauren Harris on her commitment to Long Beach State 💛🖤. First thank you to all the schools who reached out, got to know Lauren, offered, checked in. It’s been amazing to see this past year come to life, all those extra reps, the 2 a days, extra shooting, with your trainers, or just your machine.

You are the definition of Hard Work Pays Off. You trusted your work, even when you maybe had doubt at a young age, your work ethic is what separated you from others, it is what got you here and will continue to get you where you want. I remember last year, you being nervous telling me you got your first offer, felt like we were more excited for you than you. Because you never made it about you. You knew the work had to keep going. Fast forward one year, 3pt record holder in California, as a Junior! 10+ D1 offers this Spring/Summer. It’s been amazing to see that little girl, 👓, us yelling to shoot the ball, to seeing you mentor and coach your teammates up.

We are all so proud of you, whether the shot goes in or out, you continue to make us all proud. Enjoy your senior season, enjoy each day of school, keep making memories, and I will be at a game, but blended in the crowd so you don’t shoot bad 😂. Proud of You! 🩵🩷
