We are proud to officially introduce the FIRST High School Girls Travel Flag Football Team in the area — the High School Toledo Lady Birdz! 🏈🐤

Girls flag football is growing fast, and this team is ready to help lead the way right here in Northwest Ohio.

These athletes were selected from a talented tryout group and will compete in NFL FLAG Regionals, Unrivaled Flag Football Tournaments, local tournaments and other travel events throughout the 2026/2027 season.

After talks last night at our Coaches Meeting, we’re excited to announce that the Rossford Dome Lions High School Team will be transitioning into the Toledo Dirty Birdz program! 🐤🏈

We’re proud to welcome Coach Scott Salisbury, Coach Pete Fox & Coach Mike Born as they make the transition with their team into the Toledo Dirty Birdz High School program.

This group has already made noise for years in the flag football world. Multiple Unrivaled Tournament Championships, NFL Flag Regionals Championships. Currently ranked #4 at the High School level in Zorts, and now we’re excited to see what this next chapter looks like under the Dirty Birdz banner. 🔥

A huge THANK YOU to every athlete and family who came out today for the Toledo Dirty Birdz & Toledo Lady Birdz Travel Flag Football Tryouts!

The amount of talent we saw on both the boys and girls side was incredible. Speed, athleticism, football IQ, competitiveness — these athletes came ready to WORK. 💪🏈

With the turnout we had and the level of talent on the field, these coaches definitely have some tough decisions ahead of them. That’s exactly what you want to see when you’re building competitive travel teams.

Thank you to all of our coaches for giving their time today, and thank you to the families for trusting our program and giving your athletes the opportunity to compete.
