🔥MOMS & DADS🩰

Okay… this turned out to be WAY more special than we expected. ♥️

We thought we were putting together a fun Saturday where the parents could step into their dancers’ world for a little while.

And the MOMS?! 🔥
Y’all showed UP. You learned the choreo, committed to it, was patient and allowed us to break it down for you, performed it, and had the best time doing it! Was so much fun!

Moms showed out and it was an absolute blast! We laughed so much and GOT👏TO👏WORK👏 ❤️‍🔥

So yes… we can officially confirm your dancers got their skills from their Mamas. 👏😂🥂

But then there were the DADS…

We joked in our flyer about being “Man enough to make it look graceful?”

Well… watching these dads...they understood the assignment. Some put on the tutus, step completely outside their comfort zones, and dance ballet with their daughters that turned into something pretty damn special. 🥹

Because those girls weren’t worried about whether Dad had perfect technique.
They were just dancing with Dad. ♥️

They didn’t have to give up their masculinity to be gentle. They showed their daughters that strength and softness can exist in the same man. 🫡

To every mom and dad who came out, laughed with us, danced with us, shook off the nervousness, and made memories with their kids...hella props to ALL of you.

This is what the Legacy Family is supposed to feel like.

We absolutely have to do this again. ♥️🙏

There are guest instructors… and then there’s 𝘼𝙡𝙖𝙣 𝙇𝙤𝙤. ❤️

We are SO excited to welcome one of our absolute favorite instructors back to Legacy Dance Academy for his 𝙏𝙃𝙄𝙍𝘿 𝙫𝙞𝙨𝙞𝙩!

Every time Alan comes to Roswell, he brings an energy into the studio that our dancers connect with immediately. He challenges them, pushes them outside of their comfort zones, and somehow makes the entire room have an absolute BLAST while doing it.

And this time, he’s coming to us straight from the 𝙄𝙘𝙤𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙎𝙚𝙖𝙨, where he is currently in residency performing aboard one of the most incredible ships in the world! 🚢

Alan’s experience spans the globe from 𝗡𝗕𝗖’𝘀 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗗𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝟮 to professional productions, international competitions, teaching and training throughout Sweden, London, Miami, Mexico City and beyond.

But what makes us keep bringing him back?

He’s an incredible human AND an incredible teacher. Our dancers LOVE him, our staff loves having him here, and after two amazing visits, we already know what kind of day this is going to be.
