👉 No new dancers accepted after that

To try a class during Try a Class Week, you must contact Kianna to get set up.

After this date, we will begin recital choreography, and no additional dancers can be added.

We’ve heard some people think Legacy is “just a competition studio”…
Let’s clear that up real quick ⬇️

✔️ Yes, we have a National award-winning competition team
✔️ BUT we also welcome dancers who take class simply because they LOVE to dance
✔️ No required class count dancers can take 1 class or several
✔️ Every dancer gets to shine on stage in our huge, one of a kind, end-of-season recital
✔️ Most importantly, we truly know and support our youth. Not only as dancers, but as people

✨ Limited spots remain in select classes across several age groups and styles.
Availability varies, so we recommend messaging or calling us to find the best fit for your dancer.

🎉 Bring a Friend to Class Week at Legacy Dance Academy! 🎉

Dance is better with friends! From January 19–22nd, current Legacy Dance Academy dancers can bring a friend to join them in class for FREE and see what all the fuss is about at LDA!

This is the perfect chance for friends to try dance in a fun, welcoming and safe environment no long-term commitment required. And if they love it, they’re absolutely welcome to register for classes once the week is over!

What to Know:
• Guests must attend with a current LDA dancer
• Guests should be close to the same age as their host dancer
• Some classes may not be available. Your dancer will help you choose
• No jeans, please! Wear comfy clothes and sneakers

🧠 MUSICALITY!!! 🧐

Little late on the post but still necessary ☺️
October was the "Month of Musicality" for Mr. Johnathan's Hip Hop 4 class!

Musicality is sooo important when performing. It's the difference between dancing a “routine" & performing a "piece".

You don't want to just dance in front of your music, (queue the cheesy line) ahem, you want to BE the music.
The ability to precisely match your tempo, dynamics, textures and emotion. According to your sounds, lyrics, and story in the music 🤌

This is why when a perfomer is right in touch with the musicality, you get the goose pimples lol 🥶
