Our Story

Named in honor of the historic car race that preceded it, Tour de Ocho Millas follows the winding 8 mile track at Bottomless Lakes State Park that has been competitively raced since the 1960’s. With a newly repaved and refinished track, this race should be the smoothest one to date! Prizes are awarded in 9 divisions, including a new team category.

In 2011, the first Tour de Ocho Millas bike race was launched to support a local ministry, Reflections and Recovery. Fighting for freedom from drug and substance addiction, R&R provides education, resources, and the support necessary to step away from harmful lifestyles and successfully reintegrate into society. Volunteer run, it is the Christ-centered mission behind Reflections and Recovery that keeps the overlooked people living amongst us a priority.
