Some athletes talk about getting better. These two just showed up — every single day. Training Allie Davenport & Haley Templeton was a reminder of what real dedication looks like. Grateful for every rep. 🏐✨

When I was young, I could demo all day. Here we are working RS/2 combination; all about timing and feel!
Mary keeps good space my arms from body, and first step to the ball was sharp. Things we will be looking to work on choose my side earlier, create the angle sooner, and take extra setup steps to finish the pass clean.
Another view of one of the infamous boot camp passing drills! Bring it back!
In this session Alexa Was working on certain things;
Blocking- working on pressing over and tight to the next while not drifting
Setting- high quick finish with good posture
Dumping- good location in places that will score
Hitting- getting around the ball and opening in 3 steps
After five months away from volleyball, Emery Dupes jumps in to get some reps. In this clip, you can already see things she likes — especially holding her finish — but you can also see things she wants to clean up, like her stance. You can also see how late she’s reacting to the ball. One of the first things athletes lose with time off is reaction timing.
After Crystal Childs broke her hitting hand, these were some of her first attempts at batting left-handed. She later went on to play club ball as a switch hitter, batting from both sides of the plate.
Future players are built through the basics 🏐
Simple passing and shuffling drills today, strong athletes tomorrow.
“Shadow Defense” — another classic drill from A5 Volleyball Club. One of my favorite team warmups for getting athletes moving, communicating, and locked in from the first rep. Defense starts with footwork, posture, and reading the game early.
