WOW! What a way to wrap up sparring camp at our Round Rock dojang! Our students put in the work all week, and today the parents stepped up as coaches for a mini tournament they will NOT forget. 😄👊

Highlights from our Sparring Camp in Cedar Park! The rain can't keep them away from Sparring Camp! Great week of learning new techniques and skills at sparring camp! Our students worked on footwork, timing, and combinations while building confidence in the ring!

Sparring Week: July 13-18th! Students (Yellow Belts and up) please bring your safety gear to class this week This includes: helmet, face shield, arm guards, shin guards, and hogus! BOYS, make sure you wear your groin cup!

As we head into sparring week next week, there's a group of students who live, breathe and train sparring every week as part of the newly developed Master Yang's Elite Sparring Team. In addition to their regular belt classes, these students commit to an extra 5.5 hours of additional sparring drills and training weekly. It's definitely not easy and there are known to be tears...but it's all about pushing beyond what they think their limits are and seeing what they are truly capable of.

Take a peek into our Double Black Stripe Class at Master Yang's World Class Taekwondo. Double Black Stripe is the final belt level before a student becomes a Black Belt. The students who have reached this point in their martial arts journey have persevered, trained, and sacrificed countless hours to get here, and it shows in every kick, form, and sparring round. With Black Belt testing finally in sight, they push harder than ever, knowing that their first Dan is just around the corner. It's proof that discipline and dedication always pay off.
