This past weekend we traveled to Greeley, Colorado for regionals. On Saturday we had an early game ending in a tie (1-1) against Airforce and a win later in the day (2-0) against Denver. On Sunday we had two tough loses to Colorado State and Colorado resulting in 4th place in the NIRSA Championship Series. Next up, we have Nationals in Texas!

We are looking for your help to get us to Nationals in Alabama! We are so lucky to have this opportunity to represent Iowa State in this tournament that hosts many schools from the nation. We have recently created a gofundme page where it will be covering our traveling costs, hotel, and tournament fees. Awesome first day of games at Regionals!! We finished pool play with a tie against Air Force Academy, and a hard-fought win against Colorado State University. Tomorrow we head to bracket play with a game against University of Colorado- Boulder.

Player Profile of the Week
Shae McLafferty and Bri Wilder: our amazing Co-Presidents!!
Shae is a Senior studying Geology. This is her fourth year on the team and she plays center defender!
Bri is a Senior studying Biology. She plays center midfielder and before every game she blasts “Close Every Door” from the musical Joseph in her car!
These two are great leaders for the team and have an amazing presence on and off the field. Our team wouldn’t be what it is without them!

First Player Profile and Player of the Game!
Caroline Bradley is a Freshman studying Graphic Design. She listens to her country music playlist to get pumped up for games where she typically plays outside midfielder.
After being out for a few games from an injury, Caroline came out yesterday strong! She scored two goals, played in a new position, and worked super hard, all with a great attitude!
Congrats Caroline, keep doing what you do!

Great weekend for the Cyclones and always room to improve. We finished the weekend with a 7-0 win over St. Thomas and a 1-1 tie against Iowa. Thank you to all who supported us!
