First tournament in Hobbs in a long time this weekend. Not the outcome we wanted, but it’s always nice to play at home on a familiar diamond with plenty of family and friends supporting us. It was time for us to also represent a different team, Team Alexzander! The boys rocked their blue and yellow socks all weekend. The Warriors and all of our Warriors family send lots of love to you Alex! May you always keep that wonderful smile, and keep giving the best hugs!! 💙💛

First tournament of the fall season as 13U, after 3 months off. As expected, the Warriors started off a little rusty. But after taking some losses yesterday putting them in the silver bracket, they pulled out some heart, and stepped up their defense to win 2 games today to get them a beautiful 1st place ring. As always thank you to our players for your hard work, our Warriors family for your support, and our coaches for making this all possible.

We all know a kid who would be this happy for a wooden bat. .. missing baseball so much, we would all be be happy with anything baseball these days.

A Texas child received a wooden baseball bat as a Christmas present and had what might have been one of the most joyous reactions of the year.

Coaching is not something you do just because. You do it for the kids. You do it for the passion of the sport and the game. We teach the players the game and the skills needed, but we also teach them life lessons that they carry on as they grow, and we take pride in it. As a fellow coach, I know this is the reason DJ coached, and always put his all into the team. Our team hurts for DJ, his wife and kids, and for the Wreckless family. Both of our teams have helped each other out when each team needed just a few extra players. We are praying for everyone who’s hearts were touched by DJ at some point in their lives and are hurting at this time. The Warriors family join you in the mourning of a great baseball coach and man.

2nd Place! Possibly with the last tournament of the year, Warriors fought hard all weekend, but came up short in a tough loss against another really good New Mexico team, Roswell Sol. We are proud to see these boys battle their way to the championship, and not leave empty handed. Thankful for these boys and our Warriors family that made it possible!!

Warriors were started in 2017. Original colors were supposed to be yellow and black. Down to a last minute decision we went to Red and black. Well 3 years later, we changed to our original colors. We are missing 3 boys back home, but we repped new uniforms and colors, and Warriors came out playing like a new team here in Midland. 2 games won yesterday, scoring 29 runs all together and only allotting 3 runs for the other teams. Today’s game we battled one of the teams we played yesterday and came out winning once again, 7-4. Up next, championship game.
