The Monday Night Ladies Golf League had their year end scramble and meal on August 24 at Scripps Park Golf Course. The scramble was won by the Angry Birds — Annika Ebey, Tracey Hamilton, Crystal Bell, Morgan Tracy and Lauren Wilson with an 8 under par.

The basement was decorated by Arlene Cassady and her crew of workers and it looked fantastic as usual. We are fortunate to have Arlene head up our end of year meal every year. Our chefs for the evening were LaVerne Maxwell and Jack Cassady and once again they did an excellent job.

The Winners of the first half were the Tee-rific Babes, Shelby Stout, Jean Lane, Ashlee Coyle, Jill Layne, Jeri McCullough and Cora Wise.
The Winners of the second half were Birdie Babes, Nancy Sackett, Malea Jessen, Sheila Burton, Marianne Edlin, Karissa Harrison, Meagan Burton.

2026 Lowest Handicap is Kaitlyn Seymour with 6.95
2026 Most Improved Handicap is Jeri McCullough 31.84%
2026 Best W/L Record is Nancy Sackett 100%

It was a great season with a few rain outs and too hot nights, but we all survived. Thanks to all who make this league a success.
