Step right up for Haunted Circus Burlesque! 🎪

Join us Saturday, October 24 from 7:00 to 8:30 PM for a playful Halloween burlesque experience inspired by the big top. We’ll channel our inner ringmasters and learn a fun, sexy routine to Britney Spears’ “Circus,” using canes as our prop.

No burlesque or dance experience is necessary. This night is all about having fun, letting loose, feeling confident, and putting on a show. Halloween and circus inspired attire is encouraged, so have fun with it!

We’ll have canes provided, popcorn and treats, and plenty of opportunities for photos and a final performance of the routine.

This was SO much fun!

I got to choreograph a special birthday dance today for a fellow performer, and when one of her favorite songs is “You Can’t Stop the Beat” from Hairspray… how could we not?!

I absolutely love getting to create, choreograph and DANCE.

So if you have a birthday, special event, girls’ day, or just a song you’ve always wanted to dance to, message me! I’d love to create something for you.

Or if you just want an excuse to come dance with me at the studio, you’re always welcome. 💃

Big news… we have Reformers!!!

Kasey and I officially set up four brand new Reformers in The Pilates Room, and I am so excited for this next chapter of movement at the studio.

We’ll now be offering small group Reformer classes, with only 4 people per class, so you still get that personal attention, hands-on guidance, and support while moving in a group setting.

Intro to Reformer classes start this week, and these are perfect if you’re new to the equipment or want to feel more confident before jumping into regular classes.

Reformer Pilates is such an amazing way to build strength, improve posture, support alignment, challenge your core, and feel longer, stronger, and more connected in your body.

If you’re interested in trying a small group Reformer class, message me or download the Pilates and Bodies app to reserve your spot.

Today brings together so many reminders of connection.

International Yoga Day reminds us to breathe, listen, practice, and come home to ourselves.

Father’s Day reminds us to honor love, support, guidance, and the people who help shape who we become.

And the spirit of the World Cup reminds us that movement has the power to unite us across families, communities, countries, and cultures.

This practice is not about perfect poses. It’s about presence.
It’s about courage, softness, joy, discipline, and connection.

Today, may we celebrate movement in every form, on the mat, on the field, and in the heart.

Client Spotlight: Karen ✨

Today I got to spend the sweetest session with my client and friend Karen Wade and honestly… I could cry just thinking about how much I adore her.

Karen is one of those people you meet and immediately feel the goodness in her. She has the biggest, brightest smile, the kindest heart, and such a beautiful spirit. She feels like a friend, like family, like the auntie energy everyone needs in their life.

She won a private session with me through one of the events at The Esthetics Studio • Apollo Beach, FL, so today we got to play, explore, and have so much fun together in the Pilates room and on the aerial hammocks. We moved, laughed, tried new things, and just enjoyed the joy of being in our bodies.

Karen, you are beautiful, talented, strong, and so deeply loved. Thank you for bringing your light into this space and for trusting me to move with you.

You’ll see her around The Pilates Room with that bright smile of hers. Give her some love when you do. 🤍

After 6 incredible years, we’re so excited to officially share the next chapter of The Pilates Room + Bodies in Motion Studio ✨

Many of you already know Kelly Powers-Figueroa (KPF Fitness & Dance) as a longtime instructor, familiar face, and part of the heart of our studio family. From teaching privates, Pilates, yoga, dance, TRX, events, and so much more — she’s been part of this journey every step of the way.

Now, alongside Kasey, she’s officially stepping into ownership as we continue growing the studio we’ve built together with so much love and passion.

This studio has always been more than a business to us — it’s our creative home, our community, and truly our baby. We are beyond excited for what’s ahead and can’t wait to bring you even more classes, events, experiences, and opportunities to move together.
