Winding Creek Stables We are located in Rutherford County, North Carolina. We believe in teaching riding and horsemanship from the ground up.

We offer lessons in Hunt Seat and beginner Western. We also offer horse boarding, pony rides, pony parties, and camps!

Hi, all! WCS will have three amazing horses looking for homes after August 9th. Please share and reach out if interested. All 3 will go on a first right of refusal as we don’t want to lose track of them.

“Juliet”- 20 yo Connemara mare. Sound, barefoot, fat on air, lives in a herd well, can be stalled or live out. Doesn’t know her age and shows no signs of slowing down. WTC and jumps. Lunges. Easy to deal with. Quick to the fences, and strongly prefers a balanced rider. She has toted tiny people around at Summer camp all summer, and she has been a camp favorite, but she will need a more advanced rider to do more. 15.1 hh
Priced mid-fours.

“AJ”- 14 yo QH gelding. 15 hh. Wears fronts. Trail horse. Would love an easy life of being loved on and occasional trail rides with someone who is his bestie. Not a hard keeper but does require grain. We keep him on Equioxx here. He is sound but over at the knee on one side. Priced low-mid fours.

“Maple”- 12.1 hh pony mare. The cutest! Spunky but safe. Quick. Would love to match with a gritty kid. Has been at Summer camp all Summer, and they love her. Great for the littles to play with. Very green in the arena but progressing. Easy keeper. Low fours.
