The Spartan Arena is Castleton State College's state-of-the-art Athletic facility located in Rutland, Vermont.
The arena is home to the Castleton men’s and women’s ice hockey programs, as well as countless other events that benefit Castleton students, staff and the greater Rutland community. The arena has had considerable improvements made since Castleton purchased the facility in the summer of 2009, enhancing its appeal and access to the community, as well as improving the student-athlete experience. The Spartan Arena Fitness Center will open on Thursday October 1st. The hours will be 6am - 10am and 3:00pm - 7:00pm Monday through Friday and 8am - 12:00pm Saturday and Sunday.
