RBC is a pre-professional ballet school in Rye NY founded in 1978 by Lynne Stetson. It is born of tradition and refined by experience.
Curriculum: Our curriculum is rooted in the Balanchine technique and has been passed down and honed by each Director of our school. Faculty: Our teachers have deep relationships with the history of American ballet and first-hand experience leading young dancers from the first plié to the professional stage. Today we had the honor of presenting Balanchine’s Serenade in a lecture demonstration at SUNY Purchase. Grateful to for the generosity of lending their beautiful costumes. Thank you Paul Boos for your brilliant staging, and to for granting us permission to perform this ballet. A day full of music, history, and heart. Happy Valentine’s Day 🤍
