Congratulation’s Ruth!!

Ruth Colucci is the 2026 Maine Senior Women’s Amateur Champion!

Ruth posted consistent rounds of +7 and +6 to come back from a 5-shot deficit and win by just one stroke on the 18th hole.

This is Ruth’s second Senior Women’s Amateur Championship win in just three years. Congratulations, Ruth!

Scott Dewitt lost in a playoff to Tim Caron in the Senior Amateur Championship. Get him next year Scott! Strong finishes by Keith Patterson and Mike O’Brien as well.

On the men’s side some of BSCC’s best players turned the Senior Four Ball into a home match. Michael O’Brien and his partner Thomas Caron out lasted perennial contenders Scott Dewitt and Keith Patterson to win by 1 stroke! Michael managed 6 birdies and 2 eagles on day one to set the pace!!

With a final score of 134 (-8) in the best 2-of-4 format, Keith Patterson, Scott Dewitt, Michael O’Brien, and David Cook, representing Biddeford-S**o CC, win the Senior Club Team Championship at Belgrade Lakes GC!

Ruth Colucci is the 2025 Women’s Player of the Year! After winning three Tuesday Play Days and earning a fourth place finish at the Maine Women’s Amateur, Ruth wrapped up an impressive season by securing her second Player of the Year title!

Last night BSCC member Scott Dewitt was inducted into the Maine Golf Hall of Fame for his contributions to golf in Maine. Many members attended the ceremony at Poland Springs including his longtime partner Keith Patterson and his son Caleb. Congratulations Scott!!
