Excited to announce or Last Saturdaze Road Rides resuming on 4/25.

These will be social rides at an athletic pace, hopefully a happy medium between pretend-races and all-day meanderings. Anticipate an average moving speed of 20+ mph - the goal is to get it done in 2-ish hours so everyone has the rest of their day for other activities. Some segments will be more spirited than others, but the goal is to find a pace that is challenging but manageable for most of the group.

There will be some light gravel sections, so a 30-32mm road tire is ideal.

There will not be a sweep or prolonged regroups, so make sure to download the route from the link in our bio.

See you there!

Ritte is back in town this year with all of the Esprits and a selection of titanium bikes to touch, taste and feel. The Esprit is the ultimate modern road bike - fast, fun and a phenomenal value - while Ritte’s titanium models offer endless customization, making your bike truly one-of-a-kind. So schedule a demo or just stop by the shop to meet the world famous Elijah (the cool guy on all the Ritte ads) and ask him about bikes or Iberian Ham. He’s a real whiz.

Don’t call it a gravel ride.

The Yolo County Madison Brevet is back, now with all new 55, 75 & 95 mile routes.

This is an at-your-own-pace, choose-your-own-adventure multi-surface ride that starts when you want and ends when you’re done. You wanna bang out 95 miles full gas? Get after it. You want to meander with friends? Awesome. The only requirement is that everyone has at least one ride partner so nobody gets stranded alone.

Routes will be available prior to the ride and manifests will be at the shop the morning of the ride. The routes start at the shop and end at Bike Dog in West Sac. Recommended tire size for the 55 & 75 mile routes is 32-35mm; for the long route, a 35-38mm slick would be ideal, but a 30-32 road tire or 40mm gravel tire will work. There’s some long road sections and some choppy dirt road/gravelly sections on all the routes, so everything is a compromise. There is a water stop on the long route and we’re looking for a volunteer to run a water & snack station on the shorter routes, but bring water, snacks & tools - there is no sag wagon or sweep.

Fun and frolics resume April 2nd for the 2026 Shred Dog season. A” Ride rolls at 5:30 sharp, “B” Ride rolls a few minutes later. “A” Ride is full-gas and regroups are infrequent and short - i.e., show up, blow up, throw up. “B” Ride is a collaborative, less competitive ride, with a pace ranging from 20+ mph at the front to 14-ish mph at the back, with frequent full regroups.

Please plan on being self-sufficient: bring water, tools, pump, etc. Helmets, lights and liability waivers are mandatory.

Ride ends at Bike Dog Broadway for food, drinks and fun.

See you there!
