Here’s a question for you: how have you challenging yourself recently in your workout?

Personally, I have challenged myself by pushing beyond my comfort zone and setting new goals. Instead of sticking to my usual routine, I introduced variety and intensity to my exercises, making each workout more demanding and rewarding. By incorporating high-intensity interval training, weightlifting, I have embraced the discomfort and embraced the opportunity to grow beyond what I think I’m capable of.

☀️💪 It's that time of the year when we all want to feel confident and rock our best selves in those summer outfits. Here are two things you should be adding in your everyday workouts:⁠

Incorporating a warm-up on a treadmill with an incline and 1.5+ mph for 20+ minutes can be a good way to engage your cardiovascular system and burn calories. It's important to warm up your muscles and increase your heart rate before engaging in more intense exercises. ⁠
Remember to listen to your body and adjust the warm-up routine based on your fitness level and any specific needs or limitations you may have. Gradually increase the intensity and duration of your treadmill workouts over time to progress safely and effectively.⁠

In terms of weight training, using lighter weights with higher reps can indeed contribute to muscle toning and help burn fat. This approach generally focuses on muscular endurance rather than maximal strength. ⁠

When I first decided to become a fitness trainer, I never gave it a second thought of how important it is to exercise during pregnancy. It wasn't until someone came to me asking if it's safe to exercise being pregnant.
After much research, I would best recommend staying active and living a healthy lifestyle during the process of pregnancy. There are many benefits for you and the baby when it comes to exercising the right way.
Always make sure though to consult with your Dr. for clearance, prior to any physical activity.
