It’s time to celebrate an incredible 2025-2026 season! We are heading to Old Sacramento to honor the hard work, grit, and brotherhood of our Rio Linda High School wrestlers.

All wrestlers, managers, coaches, and families are invited to join us for an evening of food, awards, and a look back at our best highlights from the mat.

Knightmare Wrestling Academy is raising funds to support our local youth wrestlers, and we need your help!
Come out and support by attending our car wash this coming Sunday 9am/4pm — every dollar goes toward helping these kids grow, compete, and succeed.

We’re also looking for local businesses or community members who would like to sponsor or donate toward our $2,500 goal. Your support truly makes a difference.

**2/19-21 in Stockton, Ca for Masters

HISTORY MADE 🏆
The Rio Linda Knights Wrestling Team has officially claimed our first Golden Empire League Championship.

After a tough 6-1 three-way tie last season and back-to-back 5–1 finishes the two years before that, this group stayed hungry, and stayed working to finish at 7-0.

This title is the result of consistency, grit, and buying into the process, match by match, point by point.

We are all proud of these athletes and the standard they’ve set for themselves.

A long hard fought weekend out in Gilroy, CA for the annual MidCals Classic. Your Knights left it on all on the line, with Akeem Newsom coming out with some hardware.

Our Knights prevailed on their senior knight taking home the win 57-12 against the Woodland Wolves. This move the Knights to 6-0 in Golden League Empire competition.

This weekend we are at the always tough Mid-Cals tournament in Gilroy, Ca.

Next week join us as we look to secure our first league title in the GEL. It will be at Natomas High School. Tuesday January 27th at 6pm.
