Mystery solved! I was able to find the owner of the phone I found while diving in Folsom Lake, or I guess I should say he found me….
Story time!
After posting about his phone on all my platforms and over a week going by with no luck on finding him, I was almost positive that this iPhone was going to end up with all the other unclaimed phones I’ve found in the past. However, to my surprise, I got back to the trailer after running some errands, to have a neighbor come up and say that he saw someone driving really slow and eyeballing our trailer, so he asked him if he was looking for anything in particular and Christian let him know that he was trying to find a phone that he lost in the lake over a month ago but decided to look at his find my phone app just for giggles and saw that it was pinging in the woods in Loomis. 😂 He thought maybe someone had found the phone while diving and couldn’t unlock or sell the phone so they just chucked it in the woods, then he got to the spot to find a trailer! This all happened while I was out and about so my neighbor, knowing that I scuba dive and love to return things back to their owners, let him know I wasn’t there at the moment but he would take his info and have me call him! A short while later, Christian was reunited with his phone! Can’t wait to edit up the video and share it with everyone!

Got to go see my first MLB game last night with this ridiculously beautiful woman that I’m lucky enough to get to call my wife! A’s vs Giants and it was a ton of fun! Pretty cool having a major league in Sacramento!

Mission: Black Drone Down was a success! Marcos now has his drone and GoPro back from the bottom of Folsom lake and all the pictures and footage from the camera are still on it!!! I can’t wait to edit up the video of the dive and share it with you all! Huge thank you to Jim for bringing us out to the spot on his boat so I didn’t have to hike with all of my gear!

Anyone lose a phone in Folsom lake recently? I found this phone while diving nearish to granite bay boat launch, trying to help someone find his drone. It was protected in a dry bag and fired right back up but unfortunately has no emergency contact or selfie as a Home Screen. If you recognize this phone or know someone who might have lost their phone in the lake recently, please let me know. If not, please share this so we can hopefully reunite it with its rightful owner!
