Wiffleball in Humboldt on Friday!

Wiffle teams will be chosen on the field of Play. Friday. First Pitch Noon.

This is where the park is. Make note of it. Every year I get 50 texts from people asking me where the park is. I won't be able to answer. Noon. Here.

What we need:

Players
Umpires (Durant may dust off his cleats)
Fans
Announcers (We have no Sam and no David this year)
DJ (Family park that may have a second grade class come for play day while we're out there so...)
Wiffle balls (I will try to order this week but if anyone sees some in a store, swoop them up)
Another Captain (Holmgren is the Sparky Andersen of this....did I mention Durant may dust off his cleats?)

We'd love to get together and have a couple of Opening Day games on Sunday, April 2. If we can get at least six together, it's on like Donkey Kong, or actually more like a cheap Commodore 64 ripoff of Donkey Kong.

This year, will you be the one to hoist the SPWC Championship Trophy? Will you give everything it takes to be the GOAT? And while you're at it, do you have the time, dedication, and perseverance necessary to build the trophy? Do you have the glue, the old bats, some metal plating, and a circular wood stand to truly show you dominated the competition? And supposing—just for a second—you are that great, you can come through in the clutch, you can deliver the goods... could you deliver it this Sunday? Say around 2PM? At McKinley, usual spot? Because that would be really sweet: we could sure use a trophy... now that SPWC wiffle is back. Sundays in July. Dates TBA. For now, probably best to just get workin' on the trophy... all that glue has to dry, and you don't want to huff too much of that stuff.
