Get you a partner who’s willing to suffer through the course while you smile through the pain. 😅🖤

After a great HYROX race, I expected sore muscles.
I didn’t expect the nausea, upset stomach, loss of appetite, heartburn, and feeling completely wiped out.
The challenging part?
I have another race tomorrow.
Recovery isn’t just about your muscles.
It’s your nervous system.
It’s your digestive system.
It’s your entire body trying to find balance again after giving everything you have on the course.
Even though I’m in a new city and want to be out exploring, today I’m focusing on hydration, electrolytes, rest, and giving my body what it needs.
At this point, I’m already here and tomorrow I’ll do what I have to do.
But I’m curious…
Has anyone else experienced a post-race hangover after HYROX, a marathon, Spartan, or another endurance event?
Tell me I’m not the only one.

A reminder that transformation rarely looks pretty in the middle.
There will be moments where you question the process.
Moments where you wonder if it’s working.
Moments where you want to turn back.
Keep going.
The messy middle isn’t the final result.
Whether it’s your hair, your fitness journey, your business, or your life—the magic happens when you stay the course.
Trust the process. 🤍
When the bleach hits.. Stay tuned because right now I’m one step away from asking for a refund and a hat. 🤣

20 miles for 20 heavenly birthdays. 🤍
Three months ago, Miranda didn’t believe she was a runner.
But I saw it in her.
First a 5K. Then a 10K. Today, she ran 20 total miles in honor of her brother on what would have been his 20th birthday.
Watching her turn doubt into strength has been incredible. I’m so proud of you, Miranda. Your brother would be proud, too. 🤍
Sometimes all it takes is someone believing in you until you’re ready to believe in yourself.

Seeing all of my boys graduate high school is something that means more to me than words can explain.
School was never easy for either of us. We met in high school—a freshman and a junior—just two kids trying to figure life out. Not long after, life took us down a path neither of us expected. We became young parents and had to grow up faster than most.
There were struggles, setbacks, and seasons where simply making it through the day felt like an accomplishment. I eventually earned my diploma as an adult, taking a different path than many people imagined.
That’s why moments like this feel so emotional.
When I see our children holding their diplomas, I don’t just see a graduation. I see years of sacrifice, resilience, and determination. I see a family story that kept moving forward despite every obstacle.
For those who didn’t take the traditional path, for the teen parents, for the kids who struggled in school, for anyone who ever felt behind—your story isn’t over.
Sometimes the greatest victories aren’t about how you start. They’re about refusing to quit.
Watching the last of our original trio (before Levi) graduate high school feels incredibly special and is a reminder that every challenge, every sacrifice, and every hard season was worth it. 🎓🤍
Now we get to do it all over again with Levi in 14 years. ❤️🎓
