We have some additional sad news to pass along from one of our own, Master Glen Bushers. His wife Sandie, passed away after battling a courageous battle with cancer. May God rest her soul. We extend our sincerest condolences to Glen and the Bushers family.

To My Martial Arts Family at United Martial Arts.,

Wanted to extend an invitation to attend memorial services for Sandie Bushers, my soul mate of 51 years. She had a year long fight with cancer, but her physical body lost to the disease. I’m inviting people that either knew her or me to celebrate the transition of her spirit & soul to her next journey in life.

Location, Date, & Time: Swanston Park, 2350 Northrop Ave, Sacramento, Sat 3/21 from 11 AM – 3 PM. Services will be identified as “Memorial for Sandie Bushers & Family”.

Yesterday, we learned that a legendary martial arts champion, action movie icon, and true American had passed away. Grandmaster Chuck Norris, as most of our students know, was a good friend of Grandmaster Kang and held our Sabunim in the highest regard. Rest in peace, sir. You will be missed.

Happy Heavenly Birthday to our Sabunim, Grandmaster Myung Kyu Kang. He would have turned 93 today. We miss you, sir. Thinking of you on your special day.
