Hello Sacramento Community!
This season we are kicking things off with a mixer on June 23rd, 9am-12pm! Come meet the team, run some drills, scrimmage, and be part of creating this snacky space! Goals for the season and opportunities to be more involved in the team will be discussed. If you cannot attend please still reach out so we can get connected! We will go out to Lunch after the mixer.
As a developing team we are prioritizing fundamentals, strength training, and community. All experience levels are welcome and will find opportunities for personal challenge.
Players can expect 4-5 practices a month with additional opportunities to throw, condition, and socialize!

Founded in 2021, Sac Lunch has existed as a developmental ultimate frisbee team in the Sacramento area open to women and nonbinary folks. Sac Lunch is committed to fostering an inclusive, supportive, and fun space for folks to learn about, and play, ultimate frisbee.
For the 2023 season, Sac Lunch will focus on building out a community of women and nonbinary folks interested in playing ultimate together by hosting twice-monthly women’s pickup. Sac Lunch pickup will be open to all skill levels and no previous experience with ultimate is required! Based on the number of attendees, pickup may take the form of a field workout and/or drills. The number of attendees needed to host a field workout, drills, or pickup, will be communicated by Sac Lunch leadership so attendees have a clear idea of what they can expect when they show up, based on numbers.
When possible, Sac Lunch may look to form a roster of players to compete in local developmental tournaments and/or USAU club Sectionals.
We are excited to continue fostering a community of women’s ultimate in Sacramento and look forward to playing together!
