USA's Lydia Jacoby wins surprise gold in 100m breaststroke, Lilly King takes bronze There's a new champion in women's swimming, and her name is Lydia Jacoby. The American shocked the field by winning the Women's 100M Breaststroke in 1:04.95.

Swimming & Diving Season Notice
The CCCAA 2020-21 Athletic Plan calls for immediate implementation of the “Conventional Plan”, which keeps Swimming & Diving in Spring. On July 17, if it is still unsafe to execute athletics within the Conventional Plan framework, the CCCAA will move to either the "Contact/Non-Contact Plan" or the "Contingency Plan."
Swimming & Diving - Competition Dates 2020-21
~ Conventional Plan (Spring: begins Mar. 1 and finishes by May 22)
~ Contact/Non-Contact Plan (Fall: Start mid-Sept., conclude by Nov. 25)
~ Contingency Plan (Late Spring: Starts Apr. 10 and ends by June 23)

Division I Council extends eligibility for student-athletes impacted by COVID-19 The Division I Council on Monday voted to allow schools to provide spring- sport student-athletes both an additional season of competition and an extension of their period of eligibility.

CCCAA officially cancels spring sports and restores the season of eligibility for student-athletes. This short season will not count against their 4-year eligibility. NCAA has not made an announcement about the impact on eligibility yet.

More news - All Spring Competition and Practices postponed indefinitely effective immediately.
All spring sports have been postponed indefinitely by the CCCAA.
The CCCAA Board of Directors announced Thursday night to "immediately postpone practices outside of regularly scheduled classes, and competition for all spring sports, as well as any and all nontraditional sports seasons, indefinitely" This following the cancelation of the 2020 Men's and Women's Basketball State Championship earlier today.
