Capoeira Água de Beber (ADB) is a group dedicated to the practice of capoeira, a traditional Brazilian art form that includes martial arts, acrobatics, and dance moves performed in time with music played from capoeira instruments. BERIMBAU MAKING WORKSHOPS
Make your own berimbau! Mestre Galego will provide all materials, instruction, and help in making your own berimbau. This includes woodwork, metalwork, crafts, leatherwork, painting, and many tricks of the trade. The process will be broken up into three sections:
SEPARATE WORKSHOPS
You can do any/all of the three:
V***a e arame (bow and wire). 4 hours. Limited to 4 people. $100.
Cabaça e baqueta (gourd and drumstick). 2 hours. $50
Caxixi (shaker). 2-3 hours. $50
Sunday mornings 10am- dates TBD based on participants availability. RSVP ASAP space is limited!
