Autumn Ray 2:37:12 at California International Marathon. 23rd place at the US Marathon Championships. Splits of 1:19:18/1:17:54 Sole Sports Running Zone rabbit “What people see is the finish. Your success boils down to a number on a clock. What people don’t see is what it takes to get there. They don’t see you going to bed at 8:00 every night, even Friday and Saturday. They don’t see how much time you put into stretching, strength training, and physical therapy. They think a massages feel good and are just for relaxation. They don’t know how you obsess over your diet and don’t drink alcohol for months to keep the body finely tuned. So, yes, I am proud of my finish, a new PR, but I am more proud of the dedication and discipline that no one sees that got me there.” @ Sacramento, California
