Trail Mix Hikes

Just a few days before my 50th and a day where we hiked 22 miles on what was supposed to be an 11 mile hike (see a pattern here?). Inspired by a Photoshoped picture of one of the members jumping over Half Dome. No Photoshop trickery in this picture though.

Here's a picture from the University Fall Hike taken over 8 years ago. Notice Lee Busolo in the background. We got lost, it rained, snowed, hailed, and then sunshine in a short hike. Now the darn trail is closed... Get out there and enjoy before it's gone.

Ancil Hoffman Park is still a hidden treasure. What a great hike. I loved getting to know yet a few more of the over 6,000 Trail Mixers last Sunday night. This was a great event too. We did the Training HIll Junior as I like to call it TWICE! Elvia did it for her first time and twice amazing 64 years young. Yeah Elvia!!! Tested out another GPS app on this one different information. See the picture. Anyone have GPS suggestions? Love to hear what you find to be the best and why.

Forest Hill Divide Loop. Wow great bunch of hikers. I was the slowest so there was no losing anyone...Fun to get to know and share the trail with them. Some amazing people in Trail Mix Hikes and when you find out about them you'll know why too.
