Fencing Instructor Andrew Bradford wants to teach, practice, and play around with Guard of the Fool (alber), and lots of other things! The school is open to visitors and members on Wednesdays from 9am-5pm. Whether you have never visited our school before or you are a member of any level and would like to:
- Learn about the variety of classes we offer
- Get free help in setting personal, long term fencing goals,
- Take paid private lessons with Andrew "Silly Fabris" Bradford
- Have a free-form sparring session (SHFA members)

Plug for the Rose & Thorns Historical Fencing Symposium 2026 hosted by our lovely friends at ! Many of our students will be competing in the Smallsword and Rapier events up in Auburn this weekend. We wish them the best of luck!!

Sign up for a class on Sundays, Mondays, or Thursdays to learn the German and Spanish traditions of fighting with a one-handed sword, or attend our weekly FIGHT NIGHT on Wednesdays and see all the styles at once!

Classes are still going on as we paint and improve our new space. In fact, now is the best time to make suggestions! We want this fencing hall to be cozy as well as functional.
