National Snack Stick Day

Yes, this is a thing🤷🏻♀️!
On this day we are told to,
“Pack your pockets, backpacks, and desk drawers with yummy snack sticks so you can celebrate!”
As Americans, do we really need to make a day of snacking something to be honored??? Isn’t that why we are so overweight?
While the rest of the world eats 1, 2 or maybe 3 times a day, we deem it NECESSARY to add 2 snacks to our (already) abundant meals. It’s as if we are entirely different classifications of the human race.
Anyhow, food for thought.

"On a wing and a prayer" is a phrase originated during WWII. Occording to New York Daily News, the expression is a saying that people say when they want to emphasize how little chance of success something has, and that the person is relying and luck to be successful.
However, I think the following saying about "wings" defines my life:
Jump, and you will find out how to unfold your wings as you fall.

(Usually, I describe myself as a “fly by the seat of my pants” kinda gal, but Bradbury puts it more eloquently.)
