Haven't posted anything lately because there hasn't been anything to post. Just got word of our 4th practice day and 3rd race day cancellation at Skagit Speedway, along with 1 practice and 2 races cancelled at Grays Harbor Raceway, it's been a frustrating start to the season. All cancellations were due to weather, and/or forecasted weather. Next up is May 28/29 at Cottage Grove, Oregon. Would have never thought that our first race would be Memorial Day weekend. Hope to have some pictures and results in a couple weeks. In the meanwhile if anyone is looking for a nice addition to your racing shirt collection, my son Eric will be receiving his shirts from R&R Racewear within the next few days for his assault on the Wingless Sprint Series here in the Northwest. He will have them for sale at all WSS events for $20. Or if you would like one delivered to you by USPS $30 for a single shirt, $25 per shirt for two or more. All shirts are heather grey as shown. Always some exciting times on road trips. After stopping for some dinner in Redding, CA we discovered a broken shackle on the trailer. Some quick thinking by MacGyver Jeff Jackson and were able to make manufactuure new ones in a mall parking lot and get back on the road.

After a struggle on Sunday afternoon, caused by a pilot bushing issue, got the fresh engine in this afternoon. Always a sense of accomishment when I get the engine in and bolted up. A little plumbing and a little electrical and I'll have fire in the hole.

Northwest Focus Midget Series Schedule. We have committed to 21 races (orange highlight) with 11 potential ( O ) with the remainder being asphalt races. As a team we made the decision to not race the asphalt races a few years ago, and will continue to follow that plan. We will announce any schedule changes here.

Way back Wednesday. Good thing I never got upside down in a 1/4 midget.

Car is coming together nicely. Should have a roller before weekend is over.
