Hey there all. Long time no post. Its Marc Wright. These days, I play for the Barons 35+ with a former Brewer, BRau. I also play for the orioles 50+, with some former Cubs & a Brewer, Rick Ramirez. I played in the NABA west coast World Series in Mess, Arizona in 2016 & 2017 for the 40+ Phillies. Fun times! Was the runner up in 2016 (embroidered jackets), and laid an egg in 2017 but both experiences were fun. There is not a Brewers team any more since I stepped down as coach in 2016. I miss coaching but knew I'd run my course with the Brewers. Many good years at the helm and I'm proud of all the guys that passed through as a Brewer. Keep in touch! Peace from coach Marc
It's time for some summer baseball! I'm now playing fit the 40+ Phillies of the SMSBL league in Sacramento. Most of our games are at the fields right next to the back side of CSU Sacramento
So tomorrow the Brewers have an exciting game at Peterson Field in Rancho Cordova at 2 pm. Must win vs one of our rivals, the Aces. Let's go Brew-ers! :-)
We're winding down another year of baseball! We've had a little bit of an off year this year (and last), record wise, but we still compete and have some good, seasoned players on the team. Could always use another pitcher or two, and miss many of our former teammates (Nick, where are you?), whom would be helping us win, but it's all about competing and having fun and forming relationships. That's what the Brewers are known for, and that is what I will miss most when I ride off into the coaching sunset. I still may end up playing (Coach Marc Wright) in the 40+ league I've joined, but the Brewers will be memories only after this season. Thanks again to all Brewer players, significant others, their kids, and friends and family of players that made my Brewers experience extremely memorable.

Hello there! The CMBL league that the Brewers were formerly a part of, has merged with the NABA. Feel free to visit the website at www.nabasacramento.com. We are currently in the 18+ AAA division (most challenging, aluminum bats still). We started last Sunday, April 3rd. Please check out our schedule. We are currently looking for players, so if you know anyone who had preferably played up to college ball, we would like then to contact me. Responding back to this posting is a good start. Go Brewers!
Sacramento NABA Sacramento NABA is the largest adult baseball league in the greater Sacramento, Elk Grove, & Rancho Cordova area. and are still running strong since 1992!
Well, as another year begins, so does Baseball Season! I'm having mixed emotions about it, but I feel it is time for me to announce my last year as coach of the Brewers. From when I took over the manager position over 20 years ago, and never let it get wrestled away from me, to now, when I am going to shift my ficus to a 40+ league. It is mite lines up with my abilities and I feel I still have a little but to offer that type of team. I want to say thank you from the bottom oh my heart to all those players and fans and assistant coaches that have made my Brewer experience everything I could have asked for, AND MORE. I could brash about our accomplishments, since we played close to .750 ball every season as coach (except for last season), but I'll brash about our consistent team chemistry and I'll take credit for putting together an upstanding great group of good character guys that had talent. Bon voyage. It's time to start a new chapter, dressed in red, for my new Phillies team! :-) Peace! :-)

Can you believe we actually practiced here for a with the field lookin' like this? Man, dedication at it's finest! Go BREWERS!
Finally, the REAL Brewers showed up for the Double Header games on 4/13 (sorry posted 4/3 on last post and meant 4/6). Game 1 featured some timely hitting and Louis using all his arsenal in a 5-2 win. Louis also hit a HR in Game 1. Game 2 was an offensive explosion! We scored 11 runs before the 1st out was recorded in the top of the 1st INNING! Both Brent and Zack hit bombs. Brent's was a NO-DOUBTER! Louis' was a line drive shot...Zack's was, let's say, a bit wind-aided? LOL
