Some of you all might be wondering what happened to River City Sportfishing…. Nothing! I currently Captain the Chasin Crustacean for Big C Charters out of Sausalito and we are having an epic salmon season with no end in sight! I just wanted to update everyone and thank you all for your continued support and love for fishing!

Where better to go then the bar on Xmas?! Got out before the weather hit and left as it was getting buck nasty on the water! Bullards Bar didn’t disappoint as usual for action! Merry Xmas everyone, happy new year! Apparently my pup is a fan of Kokanee too lol. Paulina Peak Tackle from Richie Height got it done today and dragging flys from Dan Valdez produced some fish too!

So you all think I just disappeared?! Nope, not just another guide.... BIG news coming for this Spring, very excited... in the mean time, hammering down on the biggest vermillion in my book and limits of lingcod, rock fish and even a bonus cabezon! Isolation with my lady is the best. Caught TONS of fish, great day and would you look at that red meat?! Custom fly’s by Dan Valdez made quick work of the kokanee and Paulina Peak Tackle pink micro-hoochies from Richie Hight caught their fair share as well. Pink and chartreuse was the ticket! All is quiet now on the Western front... smoker sesh tomm with rockcod, Pyramid Lake cut-throat and kokanee!! I’m whooped, time for dinner and pillow. 35’-50’ down, 50-100’ setbacks. Left the parade and went up to find wide open fishing! 🎣

Got to fish with 2 great friends today and even got the boat limit amidst a blown out wheel bearing when we arrived at the launch ramp! Great Friday’s begin with friends and fishing!

Caught a dozen fish and there will be more every day coming up the river! Trolling yozuri’s was the ticket today 3.5-4.5mph Rio Vista area. Water color is amazing!

Not a bad Friday for Tim Stewart, knocked out a limit (5) of king salmon and a few real nice rainbows today at Folsom! Fish were from 30’-45’ on the browns ravine side of the lake. Great weather and all smiles🎣👍🏼

Another day/species... another 2 limits!! The delta is happening for st*****rs finally and there was plenty of action today especially at the end. Tim Stewart couldn’t keep the lines in the water before another one was going off this afternoon🤘🏼 thanks for coming out Tim, let’s do it again soon!!
