Rachelle is a Sacramento mom that brought her son to our program looking for confidence. It's been an amazing transformation in this young man since he started. He's now taking a leadership role in classes!

When you see this, what does it mean to you?

At Zen Martial Arts, we talk a lot about what it means to lead by example and one of our young Leadership Team students, Nathaniel, showed us exactly what that looks like.

His PE teacher sent this note home to recognize his kindness, patience, and sportsmanship.

Moments like this remind us that the real goal of martial arts isn’t just stronger kicks or faster punches. It’s developing the kind of character that lifts others up.

Join us for our first-ever dojo Magic The Gathering Draft Competition!
Saturday, February 28th at 3:00pm-8:00pm.

Entry is $20 and includes three booster packs to get you started, and all cards you draft are yours to keep!

Players who finish 3–0 or 2–1 will earn prize packs, and undefeated 3–0 players will advance to a final championship round to compete for gift certificates from Big Brother Comics

Registration is available until the 21st (This Saturday!) so if your interested in competing make sure you register quickly.

Isshinryu is in great hands. Olivia, the young lady leading this youth class, has been training since she herself was 8-years-old! As a mentor, there is something very powerful in seeing your students fill your shoes and move on to positively influence the lives of others.

Thank you Erik for your hard work in making a new Nafuda for us! Adults and Core+ students—when you come in on Monday, your attendance board will be on the back floor, directly across from the changing rooms!

We are very honored to be hosting this fundraiser for the St. Francis Elementary library! Zen Martial Arts is known for hosting these fundraising events for local elementary schools and we have two more coming up! If you are interested in having us host a similar event for your school, we can likely squeeze in one more! 👍

Dojo board game day was a hit at the dojo! Many parents send their children to our school to help with focus, self-discipline, or confidence. Most don’t realize that they are also getting COMMUNITY.
