Sac United competitive teams play a common Dutch-Barcelona system: 1-3-4-3 or 1-4-3-3. The attacking style of play is based on wing play, the goal keeper as a sweeper, and emphasis on ball possession. The coaching staff, many of whom are Sac United alumni themselves, is led by Technical Director Shawn Blakeman. He draws upon international and domestic professional soccer playing and coaching experience and believes in long-term individual player development over short-term winning.
