Senior Spotlight: Oleh Babichev
Oleh Babichev is a three-year Folsom High School soccer player and winger for U18 Revolution’s N1 division. With a 3.5 GPA and an AP Scholar with Honor Award, Oleh proves he can balance school, soccer, and having a good time.
Planning to major in Film and minor in Communications, Oleh’s top three schools are Chapman University, San Diego State University, and Emerson College, with Chapman being his #1.

Off the field, Oleh is all about friends, family, and adventure. Whether he’s traveling, playing beach volleyball, Spikeball, or pickleball—or occasionally jumping off a perfectly good cliff—he’s always looking for the next story to tell.

Outgoing, competitive, and always up for an adventure, Oleh is ready to make his next chapter a highlight reel.

Senior Spotlight: Cole Hallstrom
Meet Cole Hallstrom, #99, a winger for the U18 Revolution N1 Division and a varsity soccer player at El Camino High School.
At 18 years old with a 3.8 GPA, Cole brings speed, vision, and quick thinking to the field. As a winger, he knows how to find space, make the right read, and use his speed to his advantage. For defenders, that usually means one thing: they better not blink.

Off the field, Cole keeps busy with soccer, cars, the gym, work, and spending time with friends. He enjoys relaxing when he can, but there’s always something to work on, whether it’s his game, his strength, or his car.

After high school, Cole is considering Sac State, American River College, or Cosumnes River College. His future plans include studying business, pursuing the trades, or attending Sac State for criminal justice.

Cole is a quick thinker, a hard worker, and the kind of player who can change the game with one burst of speed. He’s spent years putting in the work, and now he’s ready to see where it takes him.

As state cup preliminary rounds kicked off, U12 Freedom Blue resulted in a 1-1 draw against Roseville SC Sunday. A equally matched game and a great way to start this tournament.

A dominant 10–0 victory for the girls in a game that demanded focus, determination, and teamwork from start to finish.

This team played with one heartbeat and one mission, battling against a team that does not back down easily. Our girls came ready, stayed composed, and showed what happens when everyone plays for each other.

Ten goals. A clean sheet. And a whole lot of teamwork.

We highly encourage everyone to check the stats on the NorCal app to see the goal scorers and assists. The numbers are impressive, but what stands out most is how many of these goals came from unselfish play, smart passing, and teammates setting each other up for success.

That’s what this team is about.

REVOLUTION IS ON FIRE!
The U12 Revolution with coaches Alex & Z are making some serious noise!

Yesterday, Rev kicked off their first win of the season with a dominant 6-1 victory over Elk Grove. But they weren’t done yet.

Today, they faced a tough and challenging Fruitridge SC in an absolute goal-fest. Both teams battled hard, but Revolution refused to back down.

After a thrilling, high-scoring battle, Rev came out on top with a 5-4 victory!

Two games. Two wins. 11 goals scored.

The boys are showing heart, determination, and that never-quit Revolution spirit.
