A great day in Sacramento…
The 3X3 NATIONAL CUP was lit AF 🔥
The best men’s 3x3 teams in America
all met OUTSIDE at Sacramento’s Downtown Commons Plaza and INSIDE Golden 1 Center - Home of the NBA’s Sacramento Kings.
The surprise winner was newcomer TEAM SACRAMENTO. They made the locals proud with wins in 3 epic battles:
21-18 over PRINCETON in the Quarterfinals
19-16 over WUXI HUISHAN NE in the Semifinals
and
21-19 over BALL IS LIFE in a thrilling Championship Game.
Thank you to the Sacramento Kings for partnering to stage this unique event as part of their annual Fan Fest.
Also a big shoutout to all the outstanding teams who came in from all over the country and balled out from beginning to end.
Hope to see you when we do it all again next year!

Elimination game for both. After getting off to a slow start and falling behind 10-5, the Nebraska crew got rolling and took the lead 12-11 on a Klaye Rowe 2-piece from the top of the arc. It was a dogfight from there with the game tied at 15-15, 18-18, 19-19, and now 20-20. Quarterfinal spot on the line, and next bucket wins.
Omaha 3BALL had possession coming out of a timeout and was trying to get to Day 2 of a Masters for the first time. It was now or never for Omaha because Lublin Lotto’s 7’1 300lb beast Adrian “The Giant” Bogucki was scoring inside almost every time they threw it into him.
Dylan Travis took the handoff from Trey Lansman and dribbled toward the right corner. The Lublin defense closed in, exactly as Dylan wanted them to, and then he swung it back to Big Trey with the shot clock down to 4 seconds. Bogucki came lumbering toward Lansman, but it was too late. Even Adrian the Giant’s long outstretched arms were no obstacle. Big Trey squared his feet, lined up the shot, and let it fly…

Lublin played a great game in an epic battle, and we’ll surely be seeing more from them. But Omaha 3BALL has survived and advanced to play on Sunday.
Next game will be in the Quarterfinals at 2:45pm ET. Will be facing Beijing, which beat both Princeton and Chicago to take Pool C.

Opportunities on the Pro Circuit are hard to come by when you’re trying to break into the sport. Our Omaha3BALL squad had made a splash in the U.S. the last couple years winning all of the biggest events: Nationals and Regionals, the 3X tour, and Pro Am.
Outside the U.S., we had recent wins at the League in The Hague and the Lite Quest in Quebec.
But the Pro Circuit had been another story.
And this season has been all the more challenging with a series of injuries, including one that has sharpshooter out of the lineup for the time being.
With countless nights in the gym, dozens of regional tournaments across the country, and a relentless will to win, we figured the breakthrough would come. But when?
We got our answer this past weekend at the QUEBEC CHALLENGER.
It was 4 warriors (, , .hahn44, and ) in 5 intense and physical battles against teams with far more experience, name recognition, and ranking points.
Culminating in an unforgettable Final against #4 Riga (featuring 3 Olympic gold medalists) that saw the 3BALLERS from NEBRASKA roar back from a 16-11 deficit to win 21-19.
This feels different. And we don’t intend to go back. It was tough to get here, but now the goals get bigger. 3x3 is an addictive game, and now we’re more hooked than ever. Stay tuned.
