How close have you come to nature lately? This Cooper's Hawk stopped by at ACRPD's offices in Hamilton Street Park the other day. Maybe you should visit a park this weekend!

Attention ACRPD park patrons - please be use all e-bikes and e-scooters outside our park areas. These machines are too fast to be used on park walkways and need to remain on designated bike paths, thank you for understanding :-)

ACRPD is lucky to have such an amazing and supportive community and our โ€œsmall but mighty teamโ€ would like to ask for your help in spreading the word about the Jo Smith Nature Trail ๐Ÿค—

Thank you to FOX40 for helping raise awareness and keeping our community informed about the trail closure due to erosion. Public safety is our top priority, and we appreciate their commitment to sharing important updates with local residents.

Our District is actively exploring trail modification options to address these challenges, and we remain hopeful about partnering with organizations to help support and fund this important, but extensive, project.

Arcade Creek Recreation and Park District is also proud to be a founding member of the nonprofit Sacramento Parks Foundation, which gladly collects donations to support vital projects like this. Together, with strong community partnerships, we can work toward a safer and more sustainable trail system for everyone to enjoy.

Last week, the Arcade Creek Recreation and Parks District announced the Jo Smith Nature Trail needs renovations.
