I am merely doing yoga in my living room. My goal is to inspire others to do the same.
I am WAY overdue for an update. I have done some form of yoga for 3 days straight. Let's keep this momentum going! 😊

So, for probably about 5 years, I suffered from CONSISTENT, DEPRESSING and DEBILITATING lower back and sciatic pain. Many exercises and stretches, as well as 3 spinal epidurals, gave me short-lived relief, but nothing worked permamently. Medication was a daily chore, usually it was ibuprofen/NSAIDS, but was even put on oral steroids a couple times. Norcos, vicodins, NOTHING worked for the pain, it only resulted in the uneasy feeling attributed to these meds.
Fast-forward to 2015, and as of February, I have not taken a SINGLE anti-inflammatory for daily pain!! ---in fact, I NO LONGER have "daily pain". I no longer wake up with my spine in serious pain, I wake up RIGHT AS RAIN nowadays.
Yoga, you guys. Do it. Feel it. And it WILL help you, i promise. Ask me ANYTHING, and I'll do what I can to help.
Another factor? ---quitting smoking. It's not a "must", but more people with chronic back pain smoke than don't smoke, so it's something to consider.
Above all else. . ..LIVE LIFE TO THE FULLEST.
So, less than 60 days til Hawaii. . ..time to STEP UP MY GAME. --it seems like everytime i say that, i have a setback. Well, the important thing is to just let setbacks set you back; don't let them set you OFF.
