Hi everyone! Unfortunately Uncle Gene will NOT be doing Candy Cane Lane this year. It's been a rough year for him and he needs to take a break. He said he was sorry to disappoint folks but I told him his health is more important. Thanks for understanding. Please share so everyone knows.

I don't know how Uncle Gene does it..He is a beast.. I have only been helping out for 2 days and I'm exhausted. He has put in hundreds of hours..I sure hope everyone appreciates all his hard work.

No Candy Cane Lane tonight. Our goal is tomorrow night! We wish everyone a Merry Christmas!!

Even though we have been working hard it is getting dark and we are not done..so sorry.

Just got off the phone with Uncle Gene. He is letting a couple of us help set things up tomorrow so...cross your fingers and hopefully tomorrow night..he is such a great man!

Poor Uncle Gene...the rain has all his electrical under water. No lights tonight. He is so sorry to disappoint everyone. He is trying to get everything dried out now

Ok everyone! Uncle Gene doesn't turn on the lights in bad weather so it will probably be Wednesday before lights are turned on! Sorry. I will make a post when the magic happens!
