A little sneak into the past and a look at where the Drifters spirit began.

Drifters started with a van, the open road, and nothing but time to explore.

Surfing. Hiking. Fishing. Stargazing.

We took the long way back and the spirit of adventure eventually led us back home to St. Augustine, where we started Drifters with the idea that exploring doesnā€™t always have to mean going far.

Sometimes, the best adventures are right in your backyard. šŸš²

A little backstory on what went into the City Bike Share program launching this October.

Back in 2019, we launched our OutPost program with one goal: make it easier to explore St. Augustine by bike while connecting riders with the local businesses that make our city so special. For the past five years, weā€™ve been testing, learning, and taking notes on what makes a bike share truly work in St. Augustine.

Now, all of that experience is going into our completely custom City Bike Share program launching this October.

More bikes. More docking stations. Easier rides. And an app designed to help you discover not just where to ride, but where to go.

This didnā€™t happen over night. Five years in the making, and we canā€™t wait to show you whatā€™s next!

St. Augustine, get ready to ride this October! In partnership with City of St. Augustine - Government and Priority Bicycles, we researched, tested, and inspected every detail of our new custom city bikes to ensure your ride is safe, smooth, and stress-free.

The pavement has officially been laid in preparation for the bike station at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre, which will launch in October 2026. With 24 docking stations at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre, 12 docking stations at the St. Augustine Lighthouse & Maritime Museum, and 8 docking stations at the St. Augustine Alligator Farm Zoological Park, there will be a total of 44 docking stations within walking distance of The Amp.
